ClAnKIe
Of course they would spell out their ship name like chemical element symbols! In chemical structure form, too! The 'Cl' got it worse than the spiderweb. Those rub offs hopefully are just due to poor editing.
*'An' and 'Ie' are not real elements and could be why they are underlined. Whereas Cl is chlorine and K is potassium.

PTN WOMEN AS PARENTS | Various
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
PAIRING: Chelsea x Afab!Reader, Cinnabar x Afab!Reader, Deren x Afab!Reader, Rahu x Afab!Reader, Zoya x Afab!Reader
WARNINGS: Fluff, SFW, Children, lmk if there's anything else
AUTHORS NOTE: PTN women as parents.... some may be batshit crazy, but most of them are good parents, I know that for a fact can't change my mind. Also dedicated to @prisoner-of-sin.
Tumblr media
✧ CHELSEA
• Chelsea absolutely spoils her children. She will buy them everything, from clothes to toys to pets. If they want it they'll get it, there are no exceptions.
• She's rich, money isn't even the slightest hint of concern for her. She's usually spending every jewel she can make on herself or you, but having her new bundles of joy in the world? Well then, now she's going to spend even more on them too.
• She'll 100% end up being the "Cool Mom," whether that was by accident or not. She doesn't like to be strick and usually allows your kids to get away with things, but she will lay down on them if they go to far.
• Just because Chelsea is pretty relaxed and allows minor things to be swept under the rug if it involves your kids, she isn't gonna hesitate to ground them if they do something bigger than drawing on the walls.
• Be prepared for Sitri to be very overprotective over your kids. Sometimes you'll both wonder if the gem panther considers them hers and not yours.
• It really isn't uncommon to find one of your kids missing, and when you both go into panic, you'll stop and see Sitri holding them by the back of their shirt or cuddled tightly around them.
• It's comical to see how much Sitri and Chelsea are alike when it comes to your kids. Protective and downright aggressive in situations that threaten your kids.
✧ CINNABAR
• Cinnabar is a great balance for a mother. She's fun, protective, loving, and gentle with her kids.
• She's the type of parent that can be found playing on playsets with her kids. Acting like a sea monster when your kids play pirate, or the dragon that kidnaps you, the princess, when they want to play knights.
• Whatever her kids want to do (as long as it isn't dangerous and life threatening) she's all on board to get involved whenever your kids want her to.
• Another thing is that Cinnabar can be quite an awkward parent. When it comes to the talk of "birds and the bees," she's a flustered, stammering mess as she tries her hardest to explain - you'll end up having to be the one that does.
• When your kids are older and start bringing their parents over to meet you both, she's a mix of silent intimidation and social awkwardness.
• Cinnabar almost always has an eye on your kids as well. She worries about them hurting themselves she always wants to have them in her sights. She does this more when their toddlers, because she knows she shouldn't be some kind of "helicopter parent" when they get older.
• It's such a beautiful sight to watch Cinnabar cradling her newborn baby, because she holds them with such delicacy and looks at them like they're her whole world - because you and them are.
✧ DEREN
• Deren - despite what people may think - is anything but lazy when it comes to your kids. She may desperately want to be, but she forces herself to be awake and with them at anytime she can.
• She makes it a real effort to attend every single one of their extracurricular activities. Whether it be seeing their soccer game or attending their piano recital, she'll be there in the crowd cheering them on.
• She doesn't hesitate to leave sights early where she's filming her newest movie - or ending production early that day to get home and be with you and your kids.
• Deren will also take your kids on set quite often, because she wants them to see what she does and also spend time with them as much as possible.
• It's common to have a family movie night, where Deren will play one of her favorite movies (or yours and your kids) because she wants them to have a love and appreciation for movies just like her.
• The cutest thing you can find when you're home is Deren asleep on the couch, or in one of your kids bed with them wrapped up protectively in her arms.
• It's an adorable sight that you've caught sight of many times, and you have enough pictures to show it. Depending on the night you'll tuck them both under a blanket or will crawl into bed with them, a smile usually spreading across her sleeping face when she feels your arms around her.
✧ RAHU
• Rahu is the definition of protective parent. She will go full on fight mode at even the smallest threat. One time she completely destroyed a thorn bush when you child was lightly pricked by it.
• She wants to ensure yours and your child's safety, meaning she is by your guys side almost 24/7. She's not overbearing by any means, she's simply just intent on making sure your safe wherever and wherever.
• On top of being quite protective, Rahu is one of the most awkward parents. It takes her a long long time to get the ropes of parenting.
• It takes her so long not because she doesn't know what to do, but rather because she's afraid. She's afraid of accidentally harming one of your kids because of her strength.
• It's a reason why Rahu is so apprehensive on holding your children when they're first born. She needs personal encouragement and reassurance from you before she'll take your small, newborn baby into her arms.
• It's a beautiful sight to see the usually stoic Rahu just completely melt and become vulnerable as she cradles her child close to her chest, gazing down at them like she would burn the entire world for them, and you know she would.
• There's nothing more important to her than you and her kids, and Rahu would rather die than ever see any one of you get hurt. Your all her world after all.
✧ ZOYA
• Zoya is probably one of the most perfect parents out of everyone. Sure she's violent and dangerous and many become petrified at the mention of her name, but when you give her the gift of her first child, she'll completely melt and become a woman you wouldn't expect to have done violent things.
• She dedicates everything to your kids. She'll push herself away from the Legion (as much as she can while still leading it) and spend her time with you and your children.
• Each kid you have is going to have Zoya wrapped around her finger, and there is almost nothing she wouldn't do for them. She loves each one so immensely that sometimes you wonder if she's going to drown in the love that she holds.
• There are plenty of times that you'll come home to Zoya ropped (willingly) into any shenanigans your kids come up with. From having them to her makeup, to dressing up for tea parties, or playing the role as the valiant hero or dastardly villain.
• If you stumble upon her during these moments and she notices you, be prepared to be pulled into their games and become her dear princess that she saves or the hero who stops her crimes and falls for her.
• When your kids are young and wake up in the middle of night, Zoya will make sure you go back to sleep before tending to them. She'll often be the one to check for monsters in closets and under beds as well.
• But nothing, nothing makes Zoya the most vulnerable than lying in bed with you wrapped up in her arms along with each of your kids. The sight of you all sound asleep and safe besides her will bring tears to her eyes, and she'll thank anyone listening for being gifted with your family.
Tumblr media
ENDING NOTES: Probably will make a part 2 of this with other characters, so feel free to send an ask or comment on which characters you'll like to see me write parent headcanons for next.

Monster High G3 Make a Pet playset with Frankie Stein

What kind of toys do you like?
[pretend i'm twirling my hair] I'm sooooooo glad you asked! Most of the toys I like are either dolls or small little guys, normally made with a young girl demographic in mind! I always adored dolls, but whenever I see a tiny little creature my mind just go bonkers. Like! It's a small little creature! In a small little world!
My favorite doll lines are Monster High and 2000s Barbie dolls in general. MH g1 is something else, although I'm eyeing the g3 (the newer ones) with heart eyes. I REALLY need to caught up on what's happening over there, but it's all so adorable! The theming is IMPECCABLE, let me tell you that. Barbie dolls from the 2000s are very nostalgic to me as well, as I believe it was Barbie's pinkiest and sparkliest era to this day (hopefully this changes soon!). I think Blythe dolls are adorable as well, and I hope I can get one someday, even if it's "just" a fake. BJDs are also something I really like, altho it's nothing compared to MH and Barbie dolls to me. I want to get into Bratz dolls as well, though!
Here's the obligatory shout-out to Novi Stars. FANTASTIC doll line for how creative and out there it was, and it's such a shame it didn't last longer!
Tumblr media
I really want a Susi doll one day, though. I love her face mold, and many of her dolls have incredibly adorable clothes. For context, Susi is a doll made by Estrela, a brazilian toy company, and she's just the cutest thing:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
For the tiny ones: Polly Pocket falls in the middle between fashion doll and tiny girl. I'm talking about her 2000s incarnation, whose plastic clothes will always be iconic to me. Tiny little fabulous worlds! It's perfect! But Littlest Pet Shop will always be #1 in my heart when it comes to tiny little ones. I'm obsessed, I NEED to expand my collection and I'm SO happy that they made a comeback recently! I really like how Hasbro, the owner of the brand, is doing the new molds for the pets, keeping the iconic look from the 2000s/early 2010s but adding to it. Have you guys seen the new axolotl pet?
Tumblr media
GOSH, THEY'RE SO CUTE.
I never had Sylvanian Families (very expensive for me!), but shout out to them as well. Everything is incredibly detailed and adorable, and I love seeing pictures of these little guys online! When I was a kid I wasn't interested on fofoletes at all (also made by Estrela), but I came to appreciate how they look. They're so cute!
Tumblr media
Of course, I can't forget to mention My Little Pony (gen 3 toys specifically, although the gen 4 show did my brain chemistry). Their playsets... Magnificent. Honestly half the reason I like tiny toys so much is just because of the playsets, I loved making little scenes with my playsets as a kid and just looking at them.
Honestly, I have so many Pinterest boards full of girly toys at this point you guys could ask me to find a specific toy on them and I probably could lmao.

Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I have moved to a new place, which means going through some very, very old boxes of mine. Here's some running commetary I did for some of it on Twitter
Photo 1: When I was a little lass, I used to buy these chapsticks called Lipsmackers. They came in a zillion different flavors. I used to bite them like candy. To be fair they really, really marketed them as if they were candy. They made many of the caps with a hole in them so you could wear the chapstick on a necklace chain for some reason (which I did).
Why do I still have them? Well when I got older and stopped eating these things, I still liked to use them like a normal human, but also just to smell them, they were very nice smelling. They. Do Not smell nice anymore but that is to be expected. It's been a while.
Anyway that's a very weird product from the past, the joy of collecting all the flavors and wearing them on a necklace was just as much a part of the process as actually using them, they made every single one a unique color and I think that was to appeal to Collectors. Like I got legit so excited when I went to the store and saw New flavors. And the glittery-colored ones were like cracking open a pack of cards to find a Foil, lol
Also, I discovered my Chocolate Milk chapstick has the last name of my childhood best friend in pernament marker, I fucking borrowed her chapstick and never gave it back, which is hilarious to me
Dr Pepper was the best flavor, for the record.
Photo 2: So while I was reminiscing about lip gloss, I discovered the company STILL EXISTS (I assumed they were long dead, as many fads of the 90s go). So I bought a new pack for old time's sake! They're . . . not as good smelling or as tasty as I remember them being, but they probably have changed the formula in the time span of a couple decades, to be fair.
Photo 3-4: I just wanted to say this is peak cell phone design and I miss it. I got to play Snakebar, feel like I was using a Star Trek TOS communicator, I didn't have the incredibly depressing Entire Internet with me 24/7, it actually fits into even women's pockets, it has physical buttons, I see no downsides here.
Photo 5-6: A selection of some of my Littlest Pet Shop collection from when I was a kiddo. They are vastly superior to modern Littlest Pet Shop toys, and it saddens me that kids won't get to enjoy sets like these anymore. Not only do these things actually look like animals, but the attention to detail is incredible and they are functional toys. The frogs can 'leap' with a catapault. The mice can navigate a maze with a cheese that has a magnet in it. The chamelion changes color in warm water. They all did things. And they all came with accessories (food, brushes, cat litter boxes, etc) and playsets.
Photo 7: Typical box of toys from my youth: Dinosaurs dragons bugs monster trucks lizards roaarrrrr oh also a polly pocket, Iguess. This was the duality of a tomgirl who also happened to like Very Small Cute Things. So pretty much my toys were either typical "boy's toys" or they were Cute and Small (Littlest Pet Shop, My Little Pony, Polly Pocket, etc). I didn't like dolls except I did some have Barbies as a VERY tiny tot, but it was because I loved Barbie's Tiny Plastic accessories (tiny plastic shoes, food, whatever) more than the actual dolls, lol
Photo 8: Holy shit you guys I loved Giga Pets so much as a kid. This is a selection of some of them. (Well actually one of the ones in the photo is a Nano Pet) Giga Pets were a very popular spinoff of the Tamagotchi craze. Sadly these Giga Pets have sat too long in storage and their screens are pretty much fried, despite the fact that they otherwise seem functional; but it won't do much good if I can't see them properly. (If I tilt the screen at a really intense angle I can make out the display sometimes) I liked Giga Pets more than Tamagotchi because the Giga Pets had way more features and interesting things to do, as well as a wide selection of animal types. Sadly they are no longer in production.
Fun story, the pink Giga Pet in that photo is a Koala. I kept one alive for 100 consecutive days one time. That's an incredibly long time for a Giga Pet. Once he turned 100, we had a birthday party for him with a cake and everything. Not long after that, he died because the batteries got too low. I felt very sad when he departed.
I used to wear these things on a chain around my neck and went everywhere with them. So I had like 3 or 4 of these things hanging off me quite a lot. Again, I was pretty intense with my hyperfixations even as a kid, and I had a strong Collector sort of craving. I had Digimon as well, btw! I enjoyed the battle aspect to them, as primitive as it was. I wonder where the rest of my virtual pet stash is.
Photo 9: The first home computer our family had, the reliable little Macintosh SE. SOMEHOW, when I got this thing out of storage and flipped the switch, it fucking booted up without any problems. I can't tell you how intensely wild that is, this thing is incredibly old and so many things can go wrong with its parts at this age.
A lot of fond memories with this thing. I spent a LOT of time with Hypercard, making my own stacks and games. Played a lot of the original Manhole too. I know for a lot of folks, their first home computer was an Atari, but I grew up with Macs. Back then they were actually wonderful machines, though modern Mac products now leave much to be desired.
That's all for now for the Nostalgia hype.

feeling like, personally offended on behalf of generation 2 My Little Pony.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Left: gen 1 (late 80s), right: gen 2 (90s)
I was hoping I'd get more actual info on the design of g2 other than "it was made by kenner employees once they got eaten by hasbro" but they basically brushed over the entire thing.
Also they brushed over g3.5 and briefly talked about playsets but didn't provide any context. In this episode they mention GI Joe and other 80s properties, but they didn't bother mentioning Littlest Pet Shop, which was clearly why MLP 3.5 went the way it did?!
Also like, I get that MLP shows in the 80s were made to sell toys (I'm doing a bunch of research into kids advertising then rn too!) but like, it does kind of bother me how rude all the adults are about the 80s, 90s, and 2000s cartoons. They keep showing Lauren Faust so I know she's just gonna be in the next section and they're going to be like SEE. SEE WHAT SHE DID.
earlier in the episode theyre like "oh, Escape from Midnight Castle was too scary for kids" and now Faust is all "I didn't want the ponies to be bickering and having interpersonal conflicts, I wanted BIG MONSTERS" um ok. so. like Escape from Midnight Castle?!
Which like, they keep complaining that the 1980s one was made "by adult male ad executives" and its like you know. you know that they didnt ACTUALLY make the specials and show right. they just like. hired someone to do that.
every time I see John de Lancie in anything i think about Jenny's My Little Pony video where she says "john is the rudest actor ive ever met" about meeting him
I was doing some research on toy history because i was like well, I would love to make a theoretical video just talking about pony collecting, but I'd want to include the background. so now im watching the "The toys that made us" episode and i am not going to lie, it is so slow and boring.
i was worried when i heard about it that they would cover everything i would want to talk about but its halfway through and they're reiterating that little girls like to brush the ponies hair.

I would like to just talk about the wacky and wild timeline of monster high leaks cause it intrigues me g r e a t l y.
Long post warning
so 4 months ago we got (I don't have clear dates) thee prototype cleo leak which was the first proper g3 leak i think?
Tumblr media
rest in peace her pet being named anubyss. then almost 3 months ago? 11 weeks we got
Tumblr media
a few days after that a cut image of deuce just fuckin manifested
Tumblr media
which I'm pretty sure this is just cut from one of his stock photos I'm too lazy to dig to find the right one but YEAH.
and then 7 weeks ago the day that made mh/mh g3 history
Tumblr media
FUCKIN COFFIN BEAN BAYBEE!!!!!! which not prototype related but production cause this was our first look at the final version
AND THEN TODAY FROM A REALASS STOCK PHOTO OF CLAWDEEN'S BEDROOM PLAYSET WE GOT NEW PRODUCTION TIMELINE IMAGES
Tumblr media Tumblr media
ZOO WEE FUCKIN MAMA
so uh, let's talk about that timeline yeah.
so the images in that look like the dolls from the 2nd leak, but pre-dates the first leak. because the first leak had almost an identical look to the final release minus the body coloring and was most likely a packaging test, but the cleo in these images is (from the low res jpegs we can see) completely different. and also we see FUCKING LAGOONA. WITH BLUE SKIN. I honestly don't know what to say about her. but we haven't seen any lagoona prototype/production images before so zoo wee fuckin mama
I don't even know the actual source for the 2nd image though heard vaguely something related to 12 days of fandom or smthn but the recent leaks just make them even more enigmatic cause how long ago? when? what? how? why? where? WHAT THE FUCK
also don't even know if there are differences between the 2nd leak dolls and the new image prototypes like my brain wants to say differences but we have so little detail it's impossible to tell.
and what's even crazier is we're finding these early production images of the dolls IN OFFICIAL STOCK PHOTOS IN A PLAYSET WITH THE FINAL VERSION OF ONE OF THE DOLLS when there's even a different released product that also has similar style taken photos but they're OF THE FINAL DOLLS ?!?!?!?!!!?
I'm sorry am I the only one absolutely bamboozled and brainboozled by this or is anyone else absolutely perplexed by this

I actually do have more to say about the recently leaked pet sitter playset, this time regarding the reuse of accessories
Tumblr media
here we can see the playset as well as the accompanying doll, as said in my previous post I find the doll herself be disappointing but I’m even more disappointed in them not even trying when it comes to the accessories that are included in the set
Tumblr media
here is the standard g3 draculaura, the new playset features the same pretzel and sunglasses with no changes made as well as a recolour of her sunscreen
Tumblr media Tumblr media
the earrings in the new playset are a recolour of the ones that come in the skulltimate secret set
Tumblr media Tumblr media
the shoes are a recolour of budget draculaura’s shoes
Tumblr media Tumblr media
and lastly count fabulous in the pet sitter playset is the same one found in the creepover set
Tumblr media
here’s a look at l the accessories coming in the pet sitter playset again, there are a few new accessories that have to do with the animals themselves, let foot, a bone, a food bowl and some frisbees(?) and yarn for them to play with as well as two tea cups a glass bottle and something I can’t really make out. I’m glad that they did make accessories that have to do with the theme but I’m still not impressed by their reuse of accessories, past play sets and dolls in the monster high line were so well received because they actually tried to give us something new each time whereas this set has more reused accessories than I think I’ve ever seen from any of the previous monster high dolls/sets
big thanks to @dykefangs for letting me use their screenshots comparing the items for this post

Monster High: Frankie Stein’s Dead Tired
In the past, Mattel was known for their creative fashion doll lines. One of these franchises was called Monster High. The packaging for the toys contained detailed box art. On the back of each box were individual profile artwork, which featured every new wave of dolls released. Due to this, Frankie Stein’s Dead Tired look, along with her Mirror Bed, will be presented.
Tumblr media
Doll & Playset Accessories
Frankie’s bed is practical and serves multiple purposes. The headboard is a cabinet. It contains an oil juice box, Frankie’s diary with skull pen, a stapler, scissors; plus a thread and needle. This turns the bed into a repair station. There are bolts on the bed to attach the pillow and blanket to prevent Frankie from falling out of bed. Below the pillow are bolt clamps to serve as a charging station while Frankie sleeps. The footboard has a pop-up TV to watch the ‘Sewing Channel’. Below the bed is Frankie’s pet, Watzit’s dog bed.
Tumblr media
#1 Box Art
Frankie and Watzit are both Mash-Up Monsters or Simulacrum Monsters. It’s confirmed on the box Frankie charges while asleep. Although this isn’t canon, perhaps Watzit’s bed is a cordless charger whenever he sits or lays down in it. If this is the case, it’s interesting to think he and Frankie are experiencing the same thing whenever in bed. The picture reads: “Can’t sleep, feels like all the electricity is rushing to my head...”
Tumblr media
#2 Box Art
Observing both of the characters expressions in these pictures, it’s clear the pet and owner have a powerful bond. It’s adorable how the designers are implying Frankie’s and Watzit’s relationship mentally syncs them while asleep. Thus, causing them to share and experience each others dreams and emotions. This image reads: “Ever dream you’re standing in front of class without a stitch on”?
Tumblr media
#3 Box Art
Watzit’s face is adorable in this picture! He is my favorite Monster High pet. The illustrations make one wonder if these two share more then their thoughts, dreams and emotions beyond sleeping. This image reads: “Ahhh that’s the spot....”
Tumblr media
Frankie’s Pajamas
Frankie’s color scheme is soothing with the electric blue hue. Frankie’s pants also look comfortable and her slippers are adorable. Aside from her pajamas, it’s an ingenious idea on the designers part to imply Frankie’s bed was once her father’s scientist lab table, which he used to create his daughter.
Tumblr media
What so you think? Do you like Frankie’s Dead Tired set thus far? If not, why? Please share with me!

Hello and howdy peeps it is yo girl again with another post but this time its dolls yeah that's right dolls! Okay but really I just wanted to do a post about discontinued dolls because I thought it would be nice and fun and since I haven't posted in a while I thought it would be a good thing to come back with and well here it is.
Numbah 1. Novi Stars
Tumblr media
I didn't have these dolls as a kid and I didn't really like the look of them although now I think they look really rad and honestly alien dolls? Amazing idea! I am not sure but I think these came out near the end of Bratz. They were made in 2012 and didn't last very long and ended in 2014 and like I said as a kid I didn't really like the look of these dolls so I can understand why kids didn't really flock to these dolls maybe since well where would they fit in like with me I played with Bratz with other Bratz i never played with another doll and a Bratz doll it just didn't feel like it fit in that universe but anyways the doll line only had 20 dolls and the names they came up with are very smart and I really think it's cool. If these were to come back I would probably buy them as long as it's a reasonable price. I can't see these coming back anytime soon but hopefully one day they will but since they I assume weren't as influential or popular as Bratz it will probably take time for them to come back to the world.
Numbah 2. Lalaloopsies
Tumblr media
These tiny (and big) dolls also came out around the end of my doll phase or I guess the best way to put it is when I was not getting into the newer dolls and toys. Lalaloopsies were these plastic ragdoll type dolls by again none other than mga entertainment they came in small and in some series big some also had hair and some were just plastic hair. I had some although I didn't play with them much but they were very charming and different from the other dolls I really like this era of dolls because they weren't meant to be humans they were just whatever like above aliens and just really whatever. These dolls also came with super adorable playsets and little pets just like another doll I will be talking about later on this list. Pretty sure I had almost all of the Lalaloopsies in this photo but I do not have them on me. There are at least 156 residents in Lalaloopsy land and 88 of them are tall, 39 are mini and 35 are little there are 150 females and 8 are males. They also have a or had a show on Netflix. Do I think these dolls could come back? Absolutely yes.
Numbah 3. My Scene
Tumblr media
My Scene were a doll line from 2002 made by Mattel. They look like the popular Barbie doll but with larger heads and have more similar fashion to Bratz, Mattel and Barbie's enemy/rival and have 3 movies (also is it just me or does the art style remind me of the show 6 teen?) Later through the years they had a decline and sadly they were discontinued. Do I think these dolls can come back? Difficult I feel like they could as long as the clothes are from good fabric and stylish and a part of me feels absolutely not. Mattel has had a really good kid friendly image with Barbie and I feel like a lot of parents would freak if they saw these doll. I didn't play with them as a kid actually I didn't even know about their existence AT ALL! But since I was really into Bratz I could totally have seen myself playing with these dolls as a kid i think their fashion is amazing and again I would love to see them make a comeback.
Numbah 4. Bratzillaz
Tumblr media
I know this should be criminal to have Bratz under a Mattel doll I apologize but I wanted to save the best for last. So Bratzillaz are Bratz but they are witches with magical powers and were made to compete with Mattel's Monster High Dolls at the time. They were made in 2012 but later discontinued while Bratz were being rebuilt since a lot of parents didn't like the look of the Bratz. These dolls were meant to be the cousins of the Bratz and they also had a web show. I had quite a few of these dolls maybe one day I will make a post about the dolls I had idk it will probably be a mini post but these dolls were pretty cool. I loved how the legs, hands and arms could move and the fabric they used was pretty nice. Do I think they could make a comeback? Eh maybe one day but I think MGA should just focus on the Bratz when they can before these dolls.
Numbah 5. Yummi Land
Tumblr media
Okay alright so I know this photo only shows one doll and that's because I had this doll. Her name is Mindy Mint Chocolate Chip and she smells like mint and like every Yummi Land doll they smell like what the character is named. This is yet another MGA doll line one I would absolutely love to come back why? Because I feel like they weren't around for a long time and I think they are absolutely lovely and different and I although I have said I didn't flock to many dolls that were different I feel like this is one I could see younger kids loving and I would totally buy them. These dolls were introduced in 2006 with a movie called Betsy Bubblegum' Journey through Yummi land. The doll lines included Soda pop girls, creme soda pop girls, candy pop girls, flower pop girls, ice cream pop girls, smoothie pop girls, sundae pop girls and a holiday special doll named Paris Peppermint Creme and another called birthday pop girls. I do not know how many of these dolls there are but just like Lalaloopsies they come in small and big. The doll I owned was a big one. What I loved about these dolls is that they came in bottles idk if anyone else gets interested by how things are packaged but for me I love it so these dolls coming in bottles were just really cool and if they ever made a comeback I hope they keep the bottle idea which now I will answer, do I think these dolls can come back? Yes. They are cute and I think a lot of people especially kids would love them because they smell nice and are just really pretty even the small ones could come back I think. I don't know how small those ones were but Barbie Peekaboos and Polly Pocket have been a thing therefore I think these dolls could make a return.
I grew up with a lot of dolls and I think some of them had really cool ideas and were different and I think that's cool. I really like how some of them were really girly and just cutesy and I think little girls would absolutely love Yummi Land dolls. I wish I had more growing up but I only had one although I remember another girl who was older than me as a kid getting one too I think she had blonde hair with all that said I will have the linkla below and I will see you next time
Yummi land info:
Lalaloopsy info:
Bratzillaz info:
Novi Stars info:

And that’s it. Today we learned about the heroes. Only which continents they came from though so not much there for the lesser-known ones.
This episode had some serious ups and downs. We got some interesting new characters and we saw them die. The biggest problem here is just the fact that they shoved all this into a single twenty-minute cartoon. Each hero only got a few minutes to establish themselves. Some worked and some didn’t. The second biggest problem is more a pet peeve of mine regarding destiny. These guys were all destined to die. To act as road bumps for Skull Master and push of the final fight between him and Max. One was even forced into a suicide mission where he knew he would die.
I liked so much about this episode but the destiny stuff really pushes my buttons. On a more objective note it’s a great episode. Lots of interesting characters, big climax, emotional moments, and a real blow dealt to Skull Master. On a more subjective note the destined to die thing really turns me off. Makes me realy conflicted as to where to place it in favorite episodes.
In any case since we’ve gone back to Skull Mountain we finally have a chance for me to bring your attention to the set this, and the first, episodes were based on: Mighty Max Trapped in Skull Mountain.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This was a big one. A good detailed look at all the pieces can be found here for those interested. The design for Skull Master here is very different than the one in the show. Much more lava-y evil sorcerer in the playset. The fortress’s general shape is the same in the show and many of the monsters are there as well. The giant crabs, the skeleton turtle, the rock monsters from episode one, the dragons, and Skull Master’s second in command, The Evil Warmonger. Who never really makes much of an impact in the episodes. This set gave the designers a lot to work with and they used almost all of it. They did skimp out on the hammerhead shark shaped sub thing. Probably not much call for it when you’re surrounded by lava.
Well, that’s it for season one! Like I said last week I’m thinking of maybe changing things up a bit. Do Mighty Max on Monday and some other show on Friday. On the Obscure and Tentative Hopes side we have Street Sharks a toy driven show that tried to grab that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle fame that I remember fondly but also recall it being much lower quality than Mighty Max. On the Well known and High Hopes side we have Sonic the Hedgehog, the show that was created alongside the original Archie Comics and one of Sonic’s first forays into Cartoons. I never saw the whole thing but I remember loving the episodes I did see. Given the creative freedom they had, I have high hopes for it. Third on the Well Known Tentetive Hopes side, we have Digimon Adventure. The first Digimon series with a cherished place in my heart that I am almost positive is nostalgia talking as this came out during the more wild west era of localizations and a friend that rewatched it a few years back claims it does not hold up well. Lastly, straddling the Obscure and Well Known line and High Hopes is Swat Kats. Another Animal Super Heroes show that I remember as being on par with Mighty Max.
Mighty Max, of course, fits in the Obscure and High Hopes slot and, if no one thinks any of the others are worth going after for now will retain the Monday and Friday slots.
Thanks a lot and I’ll see you lot on Friday for... Something!

A New Adventure
Thank you to @tired-mechanical-heart for commissioning me. This was a lot of fun. If you’re interested in my writing commissions, look here!
                                                   ~*~
“Pika pika!”
Baby Piper squealed with delight, kicking her feet as Pikachu hid again. She waited for her playmate to rise. Pikachu jumped out, making the baby giggle. Serena turned away from the dirty dishes and smiled. Piper looked around for Pikachu who had hidden again, and the Pokemon jumped out again, making her laugh once more.
Being a housewife and a mother was such a different life from being a Pokemon Performer. She had nothing against it of course: she loved Piper. The issue was getting used to just relaxing. No adventures, no running around, just working at home and taking care of her daughter. It wasn’t horrible; it was just different. She knew it was hard for Ash too. He spent much of his life searching for Pokemon and training.
The front door opened and Pikachu perked up. Serena wiped off her hands and went over to the baby carrier. She removed Piper from it and picked her up. Pikachu ran ahead, eager to greet his trainer. Ash smiled as he crouched down to pick up Pikachu. As usual, Pikachu ran up Ash’s arm and sat on his shoulder.
“I’m home,” He declared. “How is my little family?”
“A-da! A-da!” Piper reached for him.
Ash took his daughter from his wife but not before giving Serena a kiss.
“How was your day?” Serena asked.
“Professor Oak got a bunch more students,” Ash said as they walked to the kitchen. “Today was a class on trusting your Pokemon and learning to work together. Some of the students caught on, but it seems like some of them are having a hard time.”
“Pika pi?”
“True, you and I didn’t get along at first,” Ash smiled at Pikachu. “Some of the trainers remind me of myself when I was young.”
“Well, how about you relax with Piper and Pikachu while I finish up dinner? We’re having hamburger steak and some spiced curry.”
“And for dessert?” Ash asked, hopefully.
“Yes, I made some Poke Puffs,” Serena gave him another kiss. “It’ll be ready soon.”
Ash headed to the living room while Serena went back to the kitchen. He set Piper down on the floor. There was a blanket for her, along with various toys. When Ash had announced Serena was pregnant with their first child, Ash’s friends showered the couple with gifts for the baby. Misty had sent Piper her own Pokemon dolls along with a stuffed Goldeen plush. The plushie was one of Piper’s favorite toys; she even slept with it. Brock, ever a lover for food, had bought Piper a beautiful toy cooking set. It was another favorite of Piper’s.
“Fo!” Piper crawled towards her cooking playset.
“Oh, you gonna cook some food for us, Piper?”
“Yeah,” She pushed herself up and waddled to it. “Yum yum.”
Pikachu followed her. Ash remembered when Serena had gotten pregnant, Pikachu had changed. The Pokemon never left Serena’s side, and once Piper had born, it was stuck to her like glue. Pikachu went everywhere Piper did. At night, Pikachu slept in the crib with her. Whenever they went outside, Pikachu was sure to keep other Pokemon in check. Ash was shocked at first, but he was soon thankful. Piper had a friend for life.
He chuckled as Piper pretended to cook. Pikachu, the ever faithful, sat down and waited for his pretend food. Piper poured some tea and then brought it to Pikachu.
“Pika pi!”
Piper grinned as Pikachu ate the pretend food. He rubbed his belly and even gave her a thumbs up. Piper smiled, happy that her favorite customer was enjoying his meal. She went back to her pretend kitchen and grabbed a toy plate. She walked over to Ash, holding the plate to him.
“Is this for me?” Ash asked. “Oh thank you, Piper. It looks yummy.”
Piper pulled herself onto the couch. Ash pretended to eat, rubbing his stomach.
“Yum yum,” Ash smiled at his daughter. “You’re going to be a great cook one day Piper.”
“Yeah?”
“Yeah,” Ash put Piper in his lap. “Bet you could open up your own restaurant. Uncle Brock would be proud.”
“Unca Brock.” She repeated.
“You’re also talking a lot,” Ash held her up. “You’re growing up so fast! One of these days, you’ll be ten, and you’ll be having your own adventures. But for now, it’s time for---the tickle monster!”
Piper squealed as Ash pulled her down and started tickling her. Ash showered her kisses as she gurgled happily. Serena entered the living room, smiling at the small scene. She sat down on the couch. Piper reached for her mother, hoping she would be saved from the tickle monster’s wrath.
“Okay you two, dinner is ready,” Serena took Piper.
“Oh, I might be stuffed,” Ash joked. “Piper is a great cook Serena, isn’t she Pikachu?”
“Pika pi!” The Pokemon agreed.
“Is that so? Do I have competition?” Serena asked.
“Most definitely babe,” Ash followed her into the kitchen. “Lucky for you, I have a big stomach, so I’m still hungry.”
“Lucky me,” Serena put Piper in her highchair. “Now, I need to find her bib.”
Pikachu was already on it: the Pokemon jumped onto the table, bib in hand. Serena smiled as she took the bib from him and put the bib on Serena. Serena petted Pikachu’s head then turned to grab the food. Ash sat down as Serena placed their dinner on the table. Ash smiled as he watched Serena. Houselife suited her. Ash had been worried about retiring so to speak, but now, he wouldn’t give up his life for anything. He loved this life.
“Here Pikachu,” Serena made a plate for the Pokemon. “I hope you’re hungry!”
“Pika!” Pikachu nodded.
Serena smiled as Pikachu sat down on the table, picked up a fork, and started eating. Ash copied his friend, digging into his wife’s meal.
“Good as always baby,” Ash grinned.
“I try,” Serena replied. “Open up Piper.”
Piper opened her mouth and let her mother feed her. Ash just smiled. Yes, this was exactly where he needed to be.

It’s a big stinkin’ sale!!!
Hey everyone! As promised, here is a listing of the dolls that are up for sale! Above are photos of just a sample of the dolls from the list!
I do have other toys that will be listed in the coming days (sorry I can’t do it rn I’m literally writing this at 3:30 AM, I’m so tired and I need to clear these dolls off my dining area omg) including vinyl figures, action figures, statues, and other MH playsets that I have yet to evaluate.
I will ship to the US and Canada only. Shipping to US is a flat rate of $6 while Canada will need to be calculated.
Alternatively, if you live in the Las Vegas area, we can arrange for a pickup and duh there’ll be no shipping fee :)
I will accept payment through PayPal or Venmo. If you have another preferred method of payment, I am willing to work it out too! Details will be discussed once you commit to ordering!
All of these dolls have been displayed out of box unless otherwise noted in a smoke-free home to two dogs and one bird. Those with animal allergies, please advise.
Each EAH/MH doll will come with a free doll stand. Order seven dolls? Seven doll stands!
I did take at least one photo of each doll as I was organizing and re-boxing them for storage. Those photos will be available upon request. Otherwise, if you’re willing to check out older photos, check out my tag!
As mentioned, I do have other toys I will be listing outside of this list. If you’d like to wait to finalize your order and wait on the other lists, I can start a pullbox for you and send it off when you’re ready!
Please DM if you have any questions! thanks!!!!

April’s Dream House
Back when Aqua Teen Hunger Force was on the air, I thought about how to create a sardonic animated comedy for adults that centered around female characters, possibly even having no male characters, the way that ATHF had no female characters. My high concept was a Barbie doll who has to open up her home to an assortment of other toys, where behind the scenes presumably a little girl with a very dark sense of humor was telling these stories.
Eventually I added male characters, and gave up on the dream of making it an animation, since I can’t draw and I don’t really have access to people who can who have time to do something like this. I still kind of hope to make it a comic book or something like that, though, because this would be funnier if it’s visual.
Anyway, I’ve decided to post what I have of the concept because I think it’s funny.
Cast:
April (April and Friends) (Based on Barbie)
Sheonte (Divazz) (based on Bratz)
Catrina (Weargirls) (Based on Monster High)
Kerry Kitty/Kelly Kitty (Japanese mascot character, Kerry/Kelly Kitty and Friends) (Based on Hello Kitty)
Cherry Blossom (Best Pony Friends) (Based on My Little Pony)
Doktor Zapp (Playstuf mad scientist lab set) (based on Playmobil)
Lovey (an elderly, non-franchised, stuffed puppy)
Emily Egg (Emily Egg, line of small baby dolls with furniture) (based on Penelope Peapod)
Chad (April and Friends) (Based on Ken from Barbie)
Steve (Real American Heroes) (based on GI Joe)
Meet April. One of America’s most beloved celebrities, April has been, over the course of her lengthy career, a nurse, a neurosurgeon, an astronaut, a firefighter, a rocket scientist, CEO of a company, owner of a restaurant, a police detective, a model, a rock star, and an actress. Also, a mother figure to her three younger sisters, Betty, Courtney and Madison. (One wonders where her mom is.) But the sad secret to April’s incredibly varied career is that she is too big of an asshole to keep a job. She’s incredibly smart, sarcastic, and cruel to anyone she thinks is intellectually or socially beneath her, which is everyone. She’s also addicted to uppers, and doesn’t sleep, like, ever.
Though she’s remarkably talented, her equal talent for pissing people off has gotten her blacklisted from several industries lately, and so, facing foreclosure on her magnificent Dream House mansion, April is forced to… ugh… take in housemates.  Thus, the plot of April’s Dream House begins with April reluctantly inviting others into her home to help her pay the mortgage.
Appearance: White, tall, long blonde hair, blue eyes. Wears a lot of classic fashion, rich white lady from old money type stuff. Also a lot of things like sparkling white tennis outfits and the like. Huge boobs, tiny waist.
Housemates at April’s Dream House include:
Sheonte: Part of the Divazz team of fashion designers, journalists and adventurers, but the Divazz have broken up recently, the result of internal lawsuits and sexual shenanigans involving each other’s husbands. The Divazz and April’s entourage considered each other top competitors ten years ago, to the point of being at “war”, so Sheonte and April kind of low-key hate each other, but Sheonte needs a place to live ever since she caught her husband Jax having sex with her best friend Vivi, attacked them both brutally with her shoes and then ran into the night screaming. Jax has chosen not to press charges but has a restraining order against Sheonte, so she’s sort of stuck looking for a place to live, and all her other friends have taken Vivi’s side.
Appearance: Black, shorter than April, has a big beautiful fro that she occasionally does up in dreads. Very urban style, hip-hop look, also wears shoes with absolutely ridiculous spiked heels. Does not have as exaggerated a figure as April. When she is first introduced, she has no feet, since she attacked her friend and her husband with her shoes and Divazz’s shoes are part of their feet, but she acquires a wide assortment of feet very quickly.
Catrina: The Weargirls were top fashion models who all happened to be animal shapeshifters. Catrina, to no one’s surprise, is a cat. She thinks she’s supposed to live up to this, frequently making cat puns and throwing random meows into her conversation. Catrina thinks she’s tough, but really isn’t. Tries to start shit with her housemates. April and Sheonte bond over how immature she is and how the Weargirls are total ripoffs of their own thing. Catrina decided to move in because none of the Weargirls have a dream house; the best they’ve got is Batrice’s creepy mansion (Batrice being a bat shapeshifter, and also a vampire. With vampire parents.)
Appearance: Long, straight black hair. Body and face design is “race-coded” to look Latina, but she has tabby markings on her skin and cat eyes and ears.
Kerry/Kelly Kitty: Kelly herself refers to herself as Kerry and Kelly interchangeably. Kerry is a Japanese mascot character who is a cat. She is a white cat with a smile who is often seen doing the maneki neko beckon thing with her paw; is only vaguely anthro in that she is bipedal and has a much bigger head in comparison to body than a cat (or than a human, or a human doll). Kelly is very amiable and friendly, but is tired of having her life micromanaged by her agents. She is a huge celebrity in Japan, but less well known in the US, and is thrilled that sometimes people don’t know who she is. Has a pet named Chibineko, which she freely admits is a ridiculous name (it means “little cat”; apparently her American agents stuck her with the name. She wanted to name it Unagi, because it squirms out of her vaguely anthro arms like a little eel.) Catrina often tries to pick fights with her because “catfight”, but Kerry just laughs.
Appearance: Is a bipedal white cat with a really big head. Mostly dresses in a very casual style but has a bunch of kimonos from home she likes to wear around the house when she feels like being comfy. Never wears shoes. Has cat feet and paws, but somehow manages opposable thumb tasks. Unlike the real Hello Kitty, Kelly does in fact have a mouth.
Cherry Blossom: Is a pony. Pink, with a white mane that’s tied up with a big pink flower hair clip. Cherry Blossom comes from a land of friendship and sharing, and is a bit miffed that in this new world she has to give pony rides and act in stupid Disney movies to make a living. She’s kind of bitter because she was flung into another dimension years ago and none of her so called friends have come to rescue her. And by kind of bitter, I mean she’s a giant bitch.
Doktor Zapp: Rents the basement, which he’s converted into his new lab. Doktor Zapp is rather resentful that he’s been cast as some sort of malevolent mad scientist, performing horrible experiments on the human body, when all he wants to do is create the perfect cyborg. His previous lab got trashed by a twenty-foot-tall dog that chewed on most of the lab equipment; he barely got away with his life by hiding under a gigantic couch. Now he’s trying to rebuild his life. He does government contracting for a living.
Appearance: Smaller than all the others because he’s a playset action figure. White hair in a bowl cut, pale skin, dark glasses he never takes off. Always seen in a lab coat, green shirt and black pants.
Lovey: Is a hound dog. A stuffed puppy that was adorable once, but now she’s elderly, her coat patchy and fraying, stuffing leaking, one eye pointing in a different direction than the other. Lovey’s kind of perpetually sad because her owner went to high school and started ignoring her, and then went away to college and never came back.
Emily Egg: Is a baby doll, but close to the same size as the fashion dolls, just proportioned like a baby. Emily doesn’t talk much, and when she does, it’s kind of baby babble, but she is friendly and cheerful. Has sort of latched onto April as a quasi mother figure. Is also great friends with Lovey. Emily sleeps in an egg-shaped basket.
Chad: Is April’s “boyfriend”. He’s handsome, stylish and romantic, and very gentlemanly; he’s never pushed her to have sex. He’s a model, an actor, and the lead singer of a teen-beloved boyband. He’s also completely and totally gay, and April is the only one who doesn’t know it, but he is afraid of ruining his career if he comes out because he works for Disney-esque child-friendly networks.
Steve: Is April’s other boyfriend, the one she is cheating on Chad with. Steve is an ex-Marine, smart, tough and rugged. He’s also bi. He knows of Chad’s existence but thinks Chad is a jerk for not coming out to April and breaking up with her, because he, like everyone on the planet but April, knows that Chad is gay. When he actually meets Chad, he finds to his shock that he actually likes the guy. Steve and Chad both end up breaking up with April and marrying each other; she gets to be Best Woman. April remains friends with them both but cries a lot about the whole thing.

Hey dear! Hope I'm not a bother, but could you recommend me a few ttrpg games, if possible? A few acquaintances and I are planning on trying out play by posting. However, most of us are either new to tabletop games or lack too much experience and we would like for something quick to learn that's more on the silly side so we can let loose a bit. We've also been discussing the possibility of a diceless system, however, that is not a must-have.
If you’re looking for the intersection of “beginner friendly”, “quick to learn”, “somewhat silly” and “conducive to play-by-post”, you could have a look at Lasers & Feelings. It’s basically an affectionate parody of Star Trek: The Original Series, and the rules are one page long. And hey, free.
If you’d prefer something with less brevity and more structure (and I’d recommend it if a newbie is GMing), it really depends on what sort of premise you’d prefer. For example, if you like goofy supernatural drama - think What We Do in the Shadows - Rose Bailey’s Die For You could be a good choice. Kiddie anime with pet monsters? Try Pokéthulhu. Wacky ultraviolent martial arts shenanigans? Wushu. It’s tough to say without more specific guidance.
(At the risk of shameless self-promotion, my own Costume Fairy Adventures might also fit the bill, though it’s not free, and also it’s kind of A Lot if you’re just starting out; I’d like to think it’s easy to learn, but there’s enough to it that it’s not necessarily going to be quick. Check out the downloadable preview on the product page - I can shoot you a discount code if it grabs you.)
If you want to add “diceless” to those criteria, there are a couple of ways you can go. Both of these options lose a bit on the “quick to learn” side, as a. they are longer than half a dozen pages, and b. their resource economies create some slightly-non-obvious incentives, but they’re still not too bad on that front.
On the lighthearted side, you might have a look at Golden Sky Stories. It’s a localised Japanese game about magical talking animals who can transform into human children making friends in a rural small town. Your special abilities are literally powered by friendship, which tells you basically everything you need to know about the game’s tone.
On the decidedly not lighthearted side (but still quite silly), there’s Fiasco. If you’ve seen Fargo, this is the game it would notionally be played in. It’s not quite diceless, but due to the way it’s set up, there are only three dice rolls per session; once at the beginning, one in a mid-session intermission, and one at the end; the rest of the time you’re trading dice, not rolling them. There’s also a huge public repository of playsets, so it‘s easy to play in various milieux.
